The Acacia
A ground-level suite built into the acacia thicket, with a private photographic hide overlooking the waterhole for guests chasing the first light.
The story
The Acacia came later — built for the guests who'd rather watch the waterhole than the horizon. A short tunnel drops from the suite to a ground-level hide, close enough to hear a buffalo drink before you see it.
The suite itself is quiet and unshowy: king bed, wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor shower screened by thicket. Most guests are gone by five, coffee in hand, folding chair over one shoulder, back before the heat sets in.
